it was so fun to finally meet this family! beth is an incredible photographer from richmond, and i was honored that she chose me to capture her family. i loved spending time with them and getting to know her sweet little boy. i have a special place in my heart for four year olds (my daughter is four) and i just love that age. they were all so easy to photograph and i loved being able to give beth some photos with her IN them. totally understand how as a photographer, you’re rarely in the photos. here are a few of my favs from our morning together…

this was my first session after coming back from maternity leave and i had SO much fun with this sweet family! i am officially in love with magical morning light and am so excited that many of my sessions this summer are in the morning. happy kids and dappled warm sun is special. the love between these four is so beautiful and apparent — capturing their joy was effortless. here are a few of my favorites from our morning together.

we are overjoyed to announce the arrival of our sweet little man — vaughn elias hebert. he was born on april 3, 2013 and was 19.5 inches long and 8 pounds 7 ounces. we love every little bit of him with every piece of our hearts and souls and our hearts are so, so very full.
